“Design is a learning experience, it’s problem solving. I have a fascination for materials, for\u00a0properties, for feel. I touch everything.\u00a0There’s a power in design, more than mere aesthetic value. It’s fascinating and\u00a0exciting that I can conceive of an object that a person will use, that they will take\u00a0into their home, it’s a very intimate relationship. The power to make change, to improve a life, to teach a lesson, to protect.\u00a0That’s why I design.”<\/p>\n
